The aim of this study is to determine the general situation of households food consumption away from home and the factors affecting food consumption away from home of the households. This study is based on cross section data obtained from surveys applied to 400 households. For this purpose, possible effects of factors such as age, education level, monthly income, number of children, profession, household size, marital status, gender, district of residence and ownership of the house of residence, household’s on food consumption away from home analysed by using Chi-Square analysis. In addition, logit model was applied to carried out considering the variables that may be affecting in the food consumption away from home. According to the model estimation results, variables such as monthly income, number of children studying, number of children, household size, occupation and wife’s occupation affect the food consumption away from home.
