With this study, it is aimed to determine the effectiveness level of the exercises prepared in accordance with the techniques and principles in violin education in order to ensure that the folk songs of Teke Region, which are adapted to violin education, can be performed correctly and effectively. The research is in a descriptive model based on due diligence in one dimension, and in a one group pretest-posttest trial model in the other dimension It is based on a mixed pattern study. In the research, the folk songs that were used first were determined, and the characteristics of the determined folk songs were determined. The folk songs were arranged in accordance with the principles of violin education and a ‘Content Analysis’ was made to reveal the right and left hand violin techniques in the folk songs.According to the analysis, exercises for vocalizing folk songs were prepared. The application of the research was carried out with 6 students whose individual instrument was the 'violin' at undergraduate 3rd and 4th grades. In order to determine the effectiveness of the exercises, the performances of the students before and after the application were scored, and the statistical difference/hypothesis test was used for the significance of the change from the pretest to the posttest. Due to the low number of students (6) in the research group, nonparametric statistical methods were preferred. For this purpose, the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test was used in the study because the pre-test and post-test scores were related. When the application results of the research were examined, it was concluded that the training with all the exercises except a few exercises was meaningful and effective.
