Kültür turizmi, günümüzde deniz, kum ve güneş turizmine karşı alternatif turizm faaliyeti olarak birçok ülke tarafından yapılan önemli turizm faaliyetlerinden biridir. Köklü bir kültürel geçmişe sahip olan ülkeler, bu kültür unsurlarını turizme yönelik kullanmakta, ayrıca kültür unsurlarını turizmde kullanarak kültürün yaşatılmasını ve gelecek kuşaklara aktarılmasını sağlanmaktadır. Kültür turizmi içinde önemli bir yere sahip olan unsurlardan biri de eğlence kültürüdür. Eğlence, insanların boş vakitlerini değerlendirme ve stres atmaları amacıyla başvurulan önemli unsurlardan biridir. Kültürlerden önce var olduğu bilenen eğlencenin, geçmişte özellikle kış geceleri insanların boş vakitlerini değerlendirdiği ve hoş vakit geçirdiği bir araç olduğu bilinmektedir. Eğlence unsurları, eğlenmenin yanında bireyler arasında iletişimi sağlaması bakımından da dikkate değerdir. Günümüzde zayıflamakla birlikte insanlar düğün, bayram ve mevsimsel döngüye bağlı etkinlikler düzenleyip vakit geçirmektedirler. Bu etkinliklerde geleneksel oyunlar oynanmakta olup çeşitli gösteriler yapılmaktadır. Bu unsurlar ayrıca eğlenirken eğlendirme amacı da gütmektedir. Bu eğlenceler toplu ortamlarda köy meydanı, kahvehane, köy odası vb. mekânlarda gerçekleştirilmektedir. Ancak teknolojinin gelişmesiyle birlikte eğlence kültürü de değişim ve dönüşüme uğramıştır. Fakat günümüzde de eğlence unsurlarının yaratımında ve yapılan aktivitelerde folklor ürünlerinden yararlanılmaktadır. Çalışmada, geçmişte birçok kültüre ev sahipliği yapmış ve eğlence kültürü bakımından oldukça zengin olan Nevşehir yöresinin eğlence unsurları üzerinde durulacak olup bu unsurların turizmde kullanımı değerlendirilecektir.

Cultural tourism is one of the important tourism activities which have been organized by many countries as activity of alternative tourism against sea, sand and sun tourism today. Countries that have a rooted cultural past use these cultural factors for tourism. Besides, it is provided that the culture is sustained and transferred to the next generations by using these cultural factors in tourism. One of the factors which have an important position within the cultural tourism is entertaintment culture. Entertaintment is one of the important factors which are applied in order to make use of people’s spare time and let off stress. Entertaintment which is known to exist before cultures is known as a means which people make use their spare time and enjoy themselves particularly winter nights in the past. Entertaintment factors are significant regarding supply of communication among the individuals in addition to fun. People today spend time by organizing activities related to wedding, feast and seasonal cycle with the slimming. In these activities, traditional games are played and various shows are performed. These factors also aim to entertain while having fun. These entertaintments are performed in mass environments like village square, coffeehouse and village chamber. However, entertaintment culture has also undergone a change and transformation with the development of technology. Nonetheless, folklore products are benefited in the creation of entertaintment factors and done activities today too. In the study, entertaintment factors of Nevşehir region where hosted many cultures in the past and is rich in terms of entertaintment culture will be dwelled on and also usage of these factors will be evaluated in tourism.
