Genelleme matematik öğretiminin her düzeydeki öğrenciye kazandırmayı amaçladığı temel becerilerden birisidir. Örüntüleri genelleme her kademedeki öğrencilere kazandırmayı hedeflenen temel becerilerden birisidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, 9. sınıftaki bir öğrencinin aynı fakat farklı görsellere sahip sorulardaki genelleme becerisini incelemektir. Çalışmada, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden tekli durum çalışması kullanılmıştır. Veriler iki aşamada toplanmıştır. Çalışma grubunun belirlenmesinde birinci aşamada öğretmen olan araştırmacılardan birisinin görev yaptığı okul olması nedeni ile kolay ulaşılabilir örnekleme yöntemi ikinci aşamada ise ölçüt örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Birinci aşamaya 2019-2020 eğitim öğretim yılında özel bir Fen lisesinde 9. Sınıfta öğrenimlerine devam eden 63 öğrenci katılmıştır. Bu aşamada veriler yazılı olarak toplanmıştır. Toplanan veriler doğru cevap sayısına göre gruplandırılmıştır. İkinci aşamada ise birinci aşamada doğru sayısı fazla ve gönüllü olan bir öğrenci ile yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmada her iki aşamaya da katılan bir öğrenciden elde edilen bulgular sunulmuştur. Veriler benzer problemlerin yer aldığı beş sorudan oluşan iki veri toplama aracı ile toplanmıştır. Bu veri toplama araçlarının ilk sorusu aynı görselleri farklıdır. Diğer dört soru ise paralel formda hazırlanmıştır. Bulgular katılımcının her iki aşamada da önce görselleri inceleyerek yakın durumlar arasındaki ilişkiyi fark ettiğini ve bir kural geliştirdiğini daha sonra da geliştirdiği kuralı uzak durumlara genişleterek doğru cevaba ulaştığını göstermiştir. Görsellerin her iki oturumunda da süreci etkilemediği gözlenmiştir.
Generalization is one of the basic skills that mathematics teaching aims to acquire to the student at all levels. Generalization of examples is one of the basic skills aimed at providing students in every level. The aim of this study is to study the ability of a 9th-class student to generalize questions with the same but different images. in the work, NIT The research methods are used. The data is collected in two stages. In the first stage of the study group, one of the researchers who are teachers in the first stage is the school in which the task is, and the easy-to-access sample method in the second stage is used by the measurement sample method. The first stage 2019-2020 educational year in a special Science high school 9. There were 63 students who participated in their studies. At this stage, the data is collected in writing. The data collected is grouped according to the number of correct answers. In the second stage, the correct number in the first stage was over and half-configured interview with a student who was volunteer. In this study, the findings were presented from a student who participated in both stages. The data is collected by two data collection tools consisting of five questions with similar problems. The first question of these data collection tools is the same images are different. The other four questions are in parallel form. The findings showed that the participant first examined the images in both stages and realized the relationship between close situations and developed a rule and then developed the rule to extend to remote situations and reached the right answer. It was not seen in both sessions that the process had no impact.
