Sponsorlukla ilgili çalışmalar literatürde yaygın olmasına rağmen kültür sanat sponsorluğu altında gerçekleşen film sponsorluğu hakkında çalışma neredeyse yok denecek kadar azdır. Sponsorlukla ilgili araştırmaların çoğu sponsorluk faaliyeti bittikten sonrasını kapsamakta, sponsorluğun firmaya sağladığı katkıları incelemektedir. Film sponsorluğu ile ilgili yapılan çalışmalarda sponsorluk faaliyetinin yapım aşamasında ekonomik destek olarak ne derece önemli olduğuna, sponsorluk süreçlerine, anlaşmalarına pek değinilmediği görülmektedir. Film sponsorluğu sadece firmanın tutundurma faaliyetlerine katkı sağladığı için değil, sponsor olduğu filme ekonomik destekte sağladığı içinde önemli olmaktadır. Film yapım aşaması, film yapımcılarının en çok ekonomik desteğe ihtiyaç duyduğu dönem olduğu için parasal destek sağlamada sponsorluk anlaşmaları önem taşımaktadır. Film yapımı maliyetini karşılamak için yapım şirketleri ekonomik desteğe ihtiyaç duymaktadır. Bu noktada filme sponsor bulma en tercih edilen yöntemlerden biri olmasına rağmen bu konuda pek fazla çalışma olmadığı görülmektedir. Bu çalışmada film yapım aşamasında sponsorluğun hem filme hem de firmalara nasıl katkı sağladığına, film yapılmadan önce ekonomik destek için nasıl sponsor bulunabileceğine ve sponsorlarla yapılan anlaşmalar irdelenecektir
Although studies on sponsorship are common in literature, there is little to no doubt about the sponsorship of film sponsorship under the arts and culture sponsorship. Most of the research on sponsorship covers the end of sponsorship activities and examines the contributions of sponsorship to the company. It is seen that the sponsorship activities are important in economic support, sponsorship processes and agreements are not taken into consideration during the works carried out in the field of film sponsorship. Film sponsorship is important not only because it contributes to the promotion activities of the firm, but also because it provides economic support to the film it sponsors. Since film production is the period in which filmmakers need the most economic support, sponsorship agreements are important in providing financial support. In order to cover the cost of filmmaking, construction companies need economic support. At this point, although it is one of the most preferred methods to find sponsors in the film, there is not much work on this subject. In this study, it will be discussed how sponsorship contributes to both film and companies during film production, how sponsors can be sponsored for economic support before the film is made and agreements with sponsors.
