Abstract:

Bu çalışmanın amacı ilköğretim ve ortaöğretim çağındaki üstün yetenekli çocukların “Bilim ve Sanat Merkezleri”nde aldıkları müzik eğitimine ilişkin öğretmen görüşlerinin ortaya konmasıdır. Bu kapsamda 2016-2017 eğitim-öğretim yılı Ankara ilinde yer alan Bilim ve Sanat Merkezleri'nde görev yapmakta olan ve araştırmaya gönüllü olarak katılan müzik öğretmenleri araştırmanın çalışma grubunu oluşturmuşlardır. Bu araştırma, üstün yetenekli çocukların yeteneklerinin farkına varması ve kapasitelerini üst düzeye çıkarmaları hedeflenerek açılan Bilim ve Sanat Merkezleri'nde “Sanat ve Spor Etkinlikleri Birimi” bünyesinde öğrencilere verilen müzik eğitiminde öğretmen görüşlerinin incelenmesi açısından nitel bir araştırmadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak çalışma grubuna araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanmış öğretmen anket formu uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen bilgiler içerik analiz yöntemiyle çözümlenmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda öğrencilerin Uyum (Oryantasyon), İletişim Becerileri, Grupla Çalışma Teknikleri, Öğrenme Yöntemleri, Problem Çözme Teknikleri, Bilimsel Araştırma Teknikleri, Sosyal Etkinlikler, Bireysel Yetenekleri Fark Ettirme, Özel Yetenekleri Geliştirme ve Proje Üretimi/Yönetimi konularına ilişkin müzik eğitimi süreçlerine ilişkin öğretmen görüşleri elde edilmiş ve ilgili başlıklar altında listelenmiştir.

Abstract:

The aim of this study is to reveal the teachers’ opinions about the music education they receive in the "Science and Art Centers" of superior talented children in primary and secondary education. In this context, music teachers who are working in the Science and Arts Centers located in the province of Ankara in the 2016-2017 educational year have formed the research work group. This research is a qualitative research in terms of the study of the teacher's views in the music education given to students within the "Art and Sports Events Unit" at the Science and Art Centers, which is opened with the aim of raising awareness of the abilities of superior talented children and elevating their capabilities. The teacher survey form prepared by the researchers for the work group as a data collection tool was applied. The information obtained is analyzed by the method of content analysis. As a result of the study, the teachers’ opinions on the music training processes related to the subjects of students’ Harmonization (Orientation), Communication Skills, Group Working Techniques, Learning Methods, Problem Solving Techniques, Scientific Research Techniques, Social Events, Individual Skills Discernment, Special Skills Development and Project Production/Management were obtained and listed under relevant titles.

Teacher Opinions On Musical Education Of Highly Talented Children In Science and Art Centers

The aim of this study is to introduce the opinions of the teachers related to the music education of the highly gifted children at age of primary and secondary education at the “Science and Art Centres”. Within this content the music teachers at the Science and Art Centres in Ankara in 2016- 2017 educational years are the study group of this research. This is a qualitative study on the opinions of the teachers on the music education of the students in the “Art and Sports Activity Unit” of the Science and Art Centres, which were established with the purpose of having the Highly gifted children recognize their own talents and to increase their capacity, An interview form which was prepared by the researchers was used for the study group to gather data. The gathered information analysed with content analyse method. As a result of the study the relation of the music education process to the adaptation (orientation), communication skills, group work techniques, learning methods, problem solving techniques, scientific research techniques, social activities, recognizing the individual skills, developing special skills and Project Production/management was obtained. The results listed under related headings.
