GÜNEY ASYA DİLLERİNDE TÜRK KAVİMLERİ VE TÜRK İMAJINA DAİR SÖZ HAZİNESİ

Dillerarası etkileşim belki insanlık tarihi kadar eskidir. Diğer dünya dilleriyle en fazla etkileşimde bulunan dillerden birisi de Türkçedir. Türklerin Hindistan’a göçü ve fetih hareketleri bilinen tarih itibariyle 2500 yıllık bir süreyi kapsamaktadır. Bu süre zarfında Hindistan’da Türkler yerel diller ve halklarla karşılıklı etkileşim içerisinde olmuşlardır. Günümüzde Urduca, Pencapça, Sindce, Peştuca, Beluçça Hindistan’ın kuzeybatusında, Pakistan’da, Afganistan’da ve İran’ın doğusunda 1 milyardan fazla insan tarafından konuşulmaktatır. Bu dillerdeki Türkler ve Türk kavimleriyle ilgili söz varlığı, deyim ve atasözleri 33 farklı sözlük taranarak listelenmiş ve 13 farklı Türkçe sözlükte karşılıkları gösterilmeye çalışılmıştır. Taramalarımız sonucunda varyantlarıyla beraber 70 kelimenin sözlüklerde 108 defa geçtiği tespit edilmiştir. Bu 70 kelime içerisinde 24 Türk boyunun isimleri de bulunmaktadır. Özellikle Urducada 22 Türk kavminin isimlerinin sözlüklerde bulunuyor olması Türklerin Urducanın konuşulduğu coğrafyayı tarih içerisinde yoğun bir şekilde etkilediğinin göstergesidir. 12 farklı atasözü ve deyim ise 16 defa sözlüklerde geçmektedir. Çalışmamız; Pencapça, Sindice, Peştuca ve Beluççadaki Türklerle ilgili kelimelerin ilk defa taranması bakımından da önemlidir. Güney Asya kavramımız adı geçen dillerin yoğunlukla konuşulduğu İran, Afganistan, Pakistan ve Hindistan’ı kapsamaktadır. Çalışmamızda, Güney Asya dillerinde Türklerle ilgili olarak olumlu veya olumsuz kelimeler, Türklerle ilgili mecazlar, deyimler ve atasözleri tespit edilip bir değerlendirme yapılmıştır. Değerlendirmelerimize göre Güney Asya dillerinde Türk imajı hemen tamamen olumlu şekildedir.

Inter-language interaction may be as old as human history. One of the most interacting languages with other languages in the world is Turkish. The Turkish migration and conquest movements to India cover a period of 2500 years from the known date. During this period, Turks in India have been interacting with local languages and peoples. Today, Urdu, Pencapça, Sindce, Peshtuca, Belucca are spoken by more than 1 billion people in northwestern India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and east of Iran. The existence of words, phrases and phrases related to the Turkish and Turkish peoples in these languages have been listed by 33 different dictionaries and 13 different Turkish dictionaries have been attempted to show responses. Our scans have found that 70 words, along with their variants, passed 108 times in the dictionaries. These 70 words contain 24 Turkish names. The name of 22 Turkish peoples in the dictionaries in Urducada is an indication that the Turkish people have influenced the geography in which the Urducan is spoken strongly in history. 12 different phrases and phrases pass 16 times in dictionaries. Our work is also important in terms of the first scan of the words related to Pencapça, Sindice, Peştuca and Turks in Beluçca. Our South Asian concept covers Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India where the languages called South Asia are spoken intensely. In our study, in the South Asian languages, positive or negative words concerning the Turks, messages, phrases and speeches concerning the Turks were identified and evaluated. Our assessments show that the Turkish image in the South Asian languages is in a very positive shape.

Intercultural interactions is maybe as old as the history of mankind. One of the languages that most interact with other world languages is Turkish. Migration and conquest movements of the Turks into Indian subcontinent and South Asia nearly cover a period of 2,500 years. During this time, the Turks and Turkish language in India were in interaction with the local languages and the public. Today, five major languages (Urdu, Punjabi, Sindj, Pashto, Beluchish) are spoken by more than 1 billion people in northwestern India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran. In addition, vocabulary and idioms/proverbs and sayings in the 50 volumes of 33 different dictionaries were scanned and their equivalents were scanned in 13 different Turkish dictionaries on related Turks & Turkic tribes. As a result of our scans, 70 words pass along with their variants in 108 times. Among these 70 words, there are also 24 different names of Turkic tribes. The fact that the names of 22 Turkish tribes in Urdu are found in Urdu dictionaries is a significant indication that the Turks have strongly influenced the Urdu spoken geography during history. Twelve different proverbs were found as 16 times. Our study is important in terms of scanning the words -Related Turks- in Punjabi, Sindhi, Pashto and Beluchish for the first time. We define South Asia is where above said languages spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India. In our study, positive or negative words about Turks in South Asian languages, metaphors, idioms and proverbs related to Turks are found and evaluated. It has seen that the Turkish image is in South Asian languages immediately positive.
