Abstract:

In Denizli, industrial activities hava been performed intensively and urbanization and population have also been increasing rapidly. This situation causes some environmental problems in this field. Among these problems, air pollution takes the lead. The period and frequency of air pollution are very related to climatic factors in the field, together with humane factors create the source of air pollution. Consequently, this study has been studied to reveal the effects of climatic features from air pollution and physical geographical factors in Çürüksu Basin, in which Denizli is widely located. So, SO2 and PM10 concentrations for air pollution and meteorological data between 2013 and 2016 such as heat, humid, pressure and wind have been used. In order to indicate the relation between air pollution and climate elements, multiple regression and correlation analysis have been performed by using SPSS software. By means of this study, it has been revealed that there is a strong relationship between climatic factors and pollution parameters in Basin.
