Fizik, kimya, psikoloji, fizyoloji, felsefe, sosyoloji alanlarının kesiştiği noktada, bu düşünce tabanlı disiplinlerin tümünün kapsadığı bilgi ve deneyim sınırlarında hareket eden ve anlam bulan ‘renk’, sanata ait kuram ve uygulama boyutları bağlamında öne çıkan bir olgudur. Sanatta anlamın taşıyıcı öğelerinden biri olan ‘renk’, sanatın kurduğu görsel dilin temel araçlarından biridir. Görsel dilin aktif bir bileşeni olarak, rengin çağdaş sanattaki seyri, düşünce ve üretim süreçlerindeki yeri, bu araştırmanın konusudur. Çağdaş Sanat sınırları içinde, rengi sanat düşüncesinin temeline alan öncü sanatçıların üretim alanı, renk üzerine kurulan görsel dilin ve bu metnin savunduğu düşüncenin göstergesi olarak metnin temel dayanağı konumundadır. Sonuç olarak; çağdaş sanatı gözlemlediğimizde ‘renk’, sanatın sonsuza açılan dili bağlamında, yeni olasılıklar taşıyan, canlı ve son derece aktif bir olgu olarak ayrıcalıklı yerini korumaktadır.
At the point where the fields of physics, chemistry, psychology, physiology, philosophy, and sociology are intersectionated, this is a phenomenon that moves within the limits of knowledge and experience that all of these thought-based disciplines cover and finds meaning in the context of the theory and application dimensions of the art. "Color", one of the porting elements of meaning in art, is one of the basic tools of the visual language that art creates. As an active component of visual language, the course of color in contemporary art, the place in the processes of thought and production, is the subject of this research. Within the limits of Contemporary Art, the production area of the leading artists who are the foundation of the art thought is the basic foundation of the text as an indicator of the visual language based on color and the thought that this text defends. As a result, when we observe contemporary art, the "colour" preserves its privileged place as a phenomenon that carries new possibilities in the eternally open language of art, living and highly active.
“Color” emerging at the point, where the relevant domains of physics, chemistry, psychology, physiology, philosophy, sociology meet and intercept, moving and finding meaning at the boundaries of knowledge as well as experience covered by all conceptual disciplines, is a phenomenon stepping forward and becoming prominent in respect of artistic doctrines as well as applicatory dimensions. As one of the supporting elements of meaning in art, “color” is one of the basic and primary instruments of the visual language contrived and formed by art. As an active component of the visual language, the itinerary of color in contemporary art, as well as and including its place in conceptual and productive processes constitutes the subject matter of this study. Within premises and confines of Contemporary Art, the domain of production of avant-garde (pioneering) artists positioning color on the basis of artistic apprehension and indoctrination is located at the fundamental focus of the visual language constructed over color and such perception indicative of the idea defended by this text. In conclusion, observing and beholding contemporary art, “color” in the sense of eternally extending parlance of art, is maintaining its privileged status as a lively and ultimately active phenomenon bearing novel possibilities.
