Bu araştırmada, müzik eğitimi anabilim dalı öğrencilerinin farklı müzik türlerine yönelik müziksel algıları ritim, ezgi, armoni ve söz unsurları açısından cinsiyet değişkenine göre incelenmiştir. Müziksel algılama, duyular yoluyla müziğin farkına ve bilincine varmadır. Yani müziksel algılama devinişsel, sezişsel ve bilişsel boyutlarla oluşan bir bütündür. Bütün bu boyutlar içinde müziğin temel unsurları olan ritim, ezgi ve armonin algılanması ve bu algılamayla beraber anlamlandırılması, çözümlenmesi, yorumlanmasıyla müzik anlaşılır kılınır. Araştırma, 2011-2012 Eğitim-Öğretim yılında, Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı’nın farklı sınıflarında okuyan ve tesadüfi seçilen 49 kız, 45 erkek öğrenciden oluşan toplam 94 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilere farklı müzik türlerinden oluşan on iki tane eser dinletilmiştir. Öğrenciler dinletilen bu eserleri ritim, ezgi, armoni ve söz unsurları yönünden Likert tipi skala ile 5 puan üzerinden değerlendirmişlerdir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, çalışma grubunu oluşturan Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı öğrencilerinin müziksel algıları, dinletilen arabesk müzik ve Türk halk müziğinde cinsiyete göre söz unsurunda, klasik batı müziği, Türk sanat müziği ve rock müzik türlerinde cinsiyete göre ritim unsurunda, Türk pop müzik türünde cinsiyete göre ritim, ezgi, armoni ve söz unsurunda, yabancı rap ve Türkçe rap müzik örneğinde ise cinsiyete göre ezgi unsurunda farklılaşma göstermiştir.
In this study, the musical perceptions of the students of the music education subjects to different music types were studied by gender variable in terms of rhythm, stimulus, harmony and speech elements. Music perception is the arrival to the awareness and consciousness of music through senses. That is, musical perception is a whole consisting of devinational, seasonal and cognitive dimensions. In all these dimensions, the perception of rhythm, agility and harmony, which are the basic elements of music, and the interpretation, the interpretation, the interpretation, the interpretation, the interpretation, the interpretation, the interpretation, the interpretation, the interpretation, the interpretation, the interpretation, the interpretation, the interpretation, the interpretation, the interpretation, the interpretation, the interpretation, the interpretation, the interpretation, the interpretation, the interpretation, and the interpretation. According to the results of the study, the work group forming the University of Nine May School of Fine Arts Education Department of Music Education Anabilim Department of students' musical perceptions, listening to Arabic music and Turkish folk music in the word element according to gender, classical Western music, Turkish art music and rock music in the gender rhythm element according to gender, Turkish pop music in the gender rhythm, rhythm, harmony and word element according to gender, foreign rap and Turkish rap music in the example, the word element according to gender has shown differences in rhythm element according to gender.
In this resarch, musical perceptions of the attendees to the Music Education Department have been analyzed according to the gender variable and by considering the elements of rythm, melody, harmony and syntax. Musical perception is feeling and comprehending the reality of music by way of senses. That is to say, musical perception is a whole with the dimensions of psychomotor, intuitional and cognitive. Among those dimensions, the perception of the fundamental elements such as rythm, melody and harmony and together with this perception the naming, analysing and interpretation of those, music is definitely cleared up and becomes understandable. This resarch has been applied on coincidentally selected 49 female and 45 male, totally 94 students attending different classes at 19 May University The Fine Art Education Department Music Education Department during the academic year 2011-2012. Providing the attendees with an opportunity to listen twelve musical works in various varieties. Then they have made an assessment in terms of rythm, harmony and melody on those musical works with “Likert Type Scale” based on 5 points. Resarch results indicate a differentiation on musical perceptions of the students building up this working group at 19 May University The Fine Art Education Department Music Education Department according to their gender quality when they listen to; 1.Turkish Folk Music and Turkish Arabesque Music on the element of syntax. 2. Turkish Art Music, Classic Music and Rock Music on the elements of of rythm. 3.Turkish Pop Music on the elements of melody, harmony and syntax. 4. Foreign Rap Music and Turkish Rap Music on the elements of melody.
