Abstract:

Fakhraddin ar-Razi, which we try to determine his opinions, expresses that the concept of essence can not be used for Allah as the hero of a contractor. It uses the concept of God's truth instead of this concept. Razi discuss that the truth of Allah can be known or unknown, basically the view that Allah's truth can not be known. Addressing the claims of those who claim to know Allah's truth, Razi says that these claims are not to know the truth, but are limited to God's existence and attributes. Advocate with some evidence and examples that knowing existence and attributes is not knowing the truth of something. Razi states that be talking about two ways in the form of the istidlâl and nazar with the mücâhede and riyâzat. Razi considers that none of these ways is subjective enough to know the truth. He considers that subjectively they fill in the content of what they believe to be reached by certain truths, especially through mücâhede and riyâzat . It is said that those who use the istidlâl and nazar with the mücâhede and riyâzat may obtain more realistic and healthy results in knowing. Razi actually observes that a stronger point of view can be reached when the method of the Sufis, who use the more intuitive intuition than that of the wisely used theologians is taken together. Razi, who brings many evidences that Allah's truth can not be known, puts these arguments in order. The fact that each of these arguments is evidence that Allah's truth can not be known tries to base many rationales on evidence.
