1993 senesinde Haydar Aliyev’in Azerbaycan’da siyasi hakimiyete dönüşü AzerTAc’ın faaliyetinde yeni gelişme çağı olmuştur.
The topic of the article is the difficult but honorable path through which Azerbaijan, which is one of the first news agencies in the east and the Azerbaijan People's Republic, passes. We can divide the formation period into three stages. The first stage covers the months March-April of the 1920s. The national news agency has begun to publish its first news during this period. The second phase covers a long period from time to time - the entire Soviet period. The third phase covers the period in which we reached our second freedom. During this period - in 1992 Azerbaijan returned to its historic name. But the first years of freedom became very difficult for him, and when the agency suddenly began to be managed by its own budget, serious economic problems arose. In 1993, Haydar Aliyev's return to political domination in Azerbaijan was a new era of development in Azerbaijan's activities.
The topic of this article is the hard and glorious way passed through by AzerTAc – the heritage of the Azerbaijan People’s Republic and one of the first news agencies in the East. The period of formation of the agency can be divided into 3 phases. The first phase is quite short in time. This two-month period is even ten times smaller than the age of the Azerbaijan People’s Republic covering the March-April of 1920. The second phase covers quite a long period of time – the Soviet era. In fact, this period can be divided into several phases given the turmoil in history of the Soviet state. Finally, the third phase covers the period when we gained our second independence. During this period – in 1992, AzerTAc restored its historical name, though the first years of the independence were very challenging, and the agency experienced serious economic difficulties due to abrupt transition to self-supporting basis. Heydar Aliyev’s return to political power in Azerbaijan in 1993 marked a new development stage in AzerTAc’s activity.
