The beginning of the 20th century was recorded as a history in which the various cultural problems were discussed, voted and written in Turkmen Lands. In the mentioned period, this issue arises in the form of thoughts, opinions and suggestions that attract attention in the articles and publications on the language topic which is one of the most important and major problems of Turkmen culture. Hidir Deryayev (1905-1988) who expressed his thoughts on Turkmen language, especially on the Turkmen literary language in this period, has a special place. Hidir Deryayev who settled in the minds of Turkmen people with his novels "Ikbal", can be said that his studies on the Turkmen language, especially the research article "Turkmen Kone Literary Language" which is about Turkmen Literary Language, has a special value. Deryayev who is describing his thoughts about the Turkmen literary language in the repressive thirteen years of the twentieth century, says that there has been already a Turkmen literary language before the 1917 Revolution. Deryayev who was criticized with nationalism by the authors of the political ideology of the period because of his mentioned idea, was sent to Siberian prisons in 1937 for 19 years, although he has stated that he returned from his opinion. Hidir Deryayev was one of those who strived to be a bridge between the tradition and the revolutionary understanding of the Soviet Union in the first half of the 20th century on issues such as Turkmen History, thought, language and culture. It is seen that in the works of Deryayev, the Turkmen thinker, tried to solve the problems of the period with free perspective.
