Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to determine the current status and general profiles of the graduate theses on emotional work in the universities in Turkey. This research has been classified in categories in the framework of specific conditions in order to determine the general trends of the graduate theses prepared in the field of emotional work in Turkey between 2007-2018 years and has been attempted to enable the subject-related theses to be viewed collectively. Graduate theses obtained from the YÖK National Thesis Center in the study, which are open to access between 2007-2018 years on emotional work in Turkey, have been interpreted by the method of content analysis. In the study, the theses were discussed by categorizing the written graduate levels, the language they wrote, the year-by-year distribution, the institute they wrote, the university, the branch of the anatomy to which they belong, the gender of the researchers, the titles of the thesis consultants, the research methods of the thesis, the research techniques of the thesis and the sectors in which the thesis was written and the fields of application. The study of the postgraduate theses written in the field of emotional work is expected to be a guide to the researchers who will work in the field of emotional work in the future, with this study which tries to reveal the status of existing postgraduate theses done in this field by examining the method of content analysis.
