and comprehension of motor development have importance in the diagnosis and treatment of problems in children who don’t show normal development. Furthermore, level of motor development should be known to be able to prepare physical activity programs regarding the development of behavior performances of the children. TGMD-2 (Test of Gross Motor Development-2) is a frequently used test in international literature in order to evaluate gross motor skills in 3-10 aged children. TGMD-2 is applied by pointing according to accuracy of the criteria appropriate for 12 different skills, which form locomotor, and object control subtests. The application of test requires expertise and application differences may negatively affect the results. The purpose of this ğerlendirilmesi amacıyla sıklıkla uygulanan TGMD-2’nin ülkemizdeki uygulamalarının özetlenmesidir. Bu amaçla TGMD-2’nin kullanıldığı bilimsel çalışmalar taranarak sonuçları özetlenmiş ve önerilerde bulunulmuştur
