Performance assessment that is defined as all of the studies to determine the success and developing the employees, is one of the most important tools of modern human resources policies.Developments in the understanding of today’s management has changed the role of school administrators with it. In particular, the transition from the classical types of evaluation to performance evaluation system based on human resources management attempts made by the Ministry of Education; but systematized performance evaluation criteria could not be established.The goals of this study are to determine that who will assess performances of the primary and secondary school administrators attached to the Ministry of Education, in which period it will be done, what are performance asssessment factors that will be used for performance evaluation and on this subject secondary school administrators’s, classroom teachers’s and subject teachers’s views and opinions of these groups and also whether a significant difference occurs between the ideas of these groups.This research is consisted of personal information form and scale data collected from teaching and management staff working at 51 state schools (primary and secondary), in Izmir province, central districts (Balçova, Menemen, Çiğli, Bornova, Konak,Bayraklı, Bornova, Bornova, Buca, Bornova, Güzelbahçe)It have been benefited from the percentage and frequency in the analysis of data and a variance analysis has been carried out to determine the meaning of the difference between the averages considering the variables of duty of administrators and the teachers, seniority, tenure at the school, population of the their school, educational status, assesssment of their performances and in which period performance assessment will be done.It have been benefited from the percentage and frequency in the analysis of data and a variance analysis has been carried out to determine the meaning of the difference between the averages considering the variables of task and seniority that was consisted due to the group ideas.Task and tenure case variables have remarkable difference between participants over the performance assessment criteria
