In today’s globalized economy, the entrepreneurship phenomenon paves the way for economic and social developments. Hence, entrepreneurial activities has become a matter that is greatly sought-after, both in the academic sense and on sectoral basis. At this juncture, the future of entrepreneurial growth relies greatly on business students therefore it’s crucial to understand their intentions, yet such understanding has not been questioned before in a Turkish setting using the Shapero’s model. This paper investigates the entrepreneurial intentions of Turkish business students, and examines the influence of components from Shapero’s model on their intentions to become entrepreneurs. So as to measure these, self-administrated questionnaires were distributed to 103 business students at major universities in Ankara and Istanbul. The findings indicated that, in accordance with global trends, most of the students have an enthusiastic approach towards entrepreneurship
