In this study, it is aimed to evaluate educational system of Russia by examining views of printed media about Russian education. In this study, 10 news that were published in foreign media in last two years were examined. This study is very important since it aims to examine Russian education system which has been going through a process of reconstructing with its all dynamics. It is also important to understand the process of Russia’s reshaping in an environment where uncertainty and instability have great impact on political identity of the country. Among the important findings of the study, it is revealed that education of refugees is ignored and special education needs of some learners are underestimated as well. In addition to these, it is found out that students have difficulties in finding jobs both during and after their vocational education and course books are not well-qualified. Students are passing through a dense and strict teaching process and teachers are not well paid although they are asked to work long and tiring hours. Lastly, it is revealed in the study that unemployment rate among well-educated and young people is becoming a more important problem day by day.
