In this study it was aimed to evaluate the English language learning university students’ behaviors towards to this course. Students’ behaviors were scaled by the means of the English language attitude scale which was formed by Gomleksiz (2003). Population of the study is 2428 students who were studying in the first year of different departments in Bingol University in 2012-2013 education period. Sample of the study is 239 students who were chosen by random sampling method. As the student take the English language course in the first year of the school, sample was chosen amongst the first year students. Some of the findings of the study are: Students’ attitudes towards English language lesson are in the level of partial agreement in interest and trust sub-dimension and in the level of completely disagree in usefulness and teacher sub-dimension. According to gender variable, in usefulness sub-dimension male students have a higher attitude point than female students. According to the earlier English language learning variable, students who were take English language course in earlier time have higher attitude points towards English course than the others. According to unrelated groups’ department variable, Medical Documentation, Civil Engineering and Turkish Language and Literature students have a higher attitude point in interest sub-dimension; just Civil Engineering department’s students have a higher attitude point in usefulness subdimension
