This study aims to reveal preservice Science teachers' and preservice Social teachers' views on the nature of science, in order to achieve this aim. This study has completed his undergraduate studies at various universities Science and Social branch of Firat University pedagogical training who receives training in the Faculty of Education teachers participated (86 branches of preservice Science teachers and 97 branches of preservice Social teachers). Views on the nature of science were measured by VOSTS which was constituted 22 adapted items from the original VOSTS item pool. This study was applied in 2012-2013 academic autum term. in the analysis of research questions, it was found that many preservice Science teachers' and preservice Social teachers' in the sample held realistic views on the tentativeness of scientific knowledge; science affecting the work and life of human values and logical reasoning aspects. in other aspects, most of the preservice Science teachers' and preservice Social teachers' held naive views. Teacher candidates hypothesis, the relationship between theory and law, the nature of scientific models, scientific approach to research, traditional issues of scientific decisions and the products of science (poor) stated opinions. When the branch of preservice science teachers compared to preservice classroom teachers, they have more realistic views about the nature of science.
