This study aims to evaluate the performances of 12 petroleum exporting countries in OPEC (Organization Of Petroleum Exporting Countries) by using multi criteria decision making methods. The data have been collected from the official OPEC web site. Export value, petroleum export value, proved raw petroleum reserves, proved natural gas reserves, raw petroleum production, natural gas production, refinery capacity, refined petroleum products, raw petroleum export, petroleum products export and natural gas export data are selected as evaluation criteria. After calculating the weights of the criteria by using ENTROPI method, MAUT (Multi Attribute Utility Theory), which is a multi criteria decision making method to select the highest value providing alternative, has been used to determine the country that has the best performance. The findings of the study highlight that Iran has the best peformance
