Recreational activities are very important in changing and controlling the negative feelings of individuals. The destructive effects of the anger, which is a negative feeling with the results of the individual's experience, is believed to be reduced by recreational activities and to increase the well-being of the individual. The purpose of the study is to reveal the effects of anger expression styles on negative-positive affect and life satisfaction. To collect data in the survey The State-Trait Anger Scale (STAS), Positive and Negative Affect (PANAS) and Life Satisfaction scales were used and the questionnaire was applied to 658 individuals. In the analysis of the data, descriptive statistics as well as parametric tests were used (t test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, simple linear regression).As a result of the data analysis, participants' perception of life satisfaction differences didn’t occur according to age, marital status, difference has occurred according to education status, gender, recreational activity participation areas. At the same time, Participants perception of anger difference has occurred according to recreational activity participation areas. Further, anger control dimension affects life satisfaction positively, anger explains life satisfaction level 9%, negative affect level 21%.
