In this research, Education Faculty last year students’ awareness and using levels of teaching methods were tried to be determined. For this purpose, in the second term of the academic year 2008-2009 the research was carried out with a total of 381 final year students studying in Faculties of Education in Mustafa Kemal University, Firat University and Cumhuriyet University. To gather data a questionnaire was developed by the researcher that applied on students in the sample and the obtained data was analyzed. In the questionnaire 35 triple Likert- type questions are set which are widely used and often asked on sources about the teaching methods and techniques. In the study it is emerged that education faculty last year students know most of teaching methods and techniques asked in the questionnaire which are particularly very important for the implementation of active training and constructivist approaches, but rather they prefer the use of methods such as lecture and question and answer.
