Abstract:

To compare the efficiency values of the companies listed on Istanbul Stock Exchange Food, Beverage Index; financial efficiency values belonged to the selected companies from the mentioned index are measured over the financial ratios for each year of 2010-2012 period by using Data Envelopment Analysis in the study. Hence; both efficient and inefficient companies are determined according to the analyses applied additionally the potential improvement ratios are calculated for the inefficient ones. Consequently; the efficiency values of each company are compared via Malmquist Index for the mentioned period at the end of the study. Due to the analyses held; ÜLKER is determined to be the only company both being efficient for each year and having continuously increasing productivity values.
