So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

This article focuses on the socialization and social integration levels of adults grew in the orphanages. Institutional care is a model of social work improved on the basis of an idea of the social welfare state. Social welfare state takes responsibility of caring the children and adolescents in need of protection and tries to meet their physical and psychological needs. Thus, it enables children to involve in the community lifes in the future. However, children and adolescents living in orphanage face with many social and psychological problems compared to their peers living with their families. It is likely to continue these problems in the future periods. Starting from this assumption, this study focuses on the social integration of adults lived in orphanages in Sivas. A questionnaire was applied to 50 adults lived in orphanages in a period of their lives. Frequency distributions and percentages of data obtained from the research were presented in the table. According to results marital status and occupation are two significant predictors of social integration
