It is aimed to present a theoretical research about the techniques that can be used in concept teaching and concept teaching in Primary Life Science lesson program 2005. The "document review" method, which is one of the qualitative research methods, has been used with a sense of detailing the information. Techniques that can be used in concept teaching and concept teaching in Social Studies lesson are tried to be explained. Conclusion: In concept teaching; the use of concept maps, concept nets, concept cartoons and concept puzzles has resulted in the fact that learning has become more accurate and meaningful,learning and rememberinghave facilitated,misconceptions of the concept have removed.
