It is nourished by many philosophical ideas such as postmodernism, post structuralism and deconstruction which reflect the thought characteristics of today's world.The notion of 'deconstruction' derived from the philosophy of philosophy Jacques Derrida 's postmodern philosophy continues to increase the effectiveness and recognition of many areas.One of these areas is the fashion design.Fashion design met with the concept of deconstruction in the first years of the 1980s and broadened its scope of influence today. In fashion design, which has a system that renews itself continuously, deconstruction ideas and practices provide valuable contributions to the renewal processes. Deconstruction has a meaning that can be re-interpreted according to the broad, uncertain, trivial, and changing worldviews. Hence, studies on deconstruction in the field of clothing fashion are being investigated, presence of scattered data has been found and attempts are made in order to obtain clearer information for this study by associating the fact that there is uncertainty in the deconstruction in nature. Aim of the study is to discuss clothing design elements with the concept of deconstruction and to associate deconstruction items with clothing design elements according to the views obtained. A unique visual analysis form has been developed that can be used to analyse the content of the concept of the deconstruction fashion, examine the existing deconstruction applications, and define what applications may be included in the deconstruction content. The visual analysis form consists of two categories, the appearance properties of deconstruction clothing and deconstruction analysis of the clothes. In the deconstruction analysis of the clothes; unstructuring, restructuring, intertextuality and decentralisation are defined elements of clothing fashion. How and why these definitions are matched is described by design examples while the literature has been reviewed in the field. It is also thought that, matching is valuable for determining the appearance properties of the clothing affected by the deconstruction. Deconstruction items were compared with clothing design elements, to determine and to attribute, which deconstruction items could be considered along with clothing design elements.
