The border between business and family areas, which are completely separated from each other by the industrial revolution, has begun to blur together with technology. That the interactions between these two domains and the role expectations of both domains are effectively met are great importance in terms of ensuring the work/life balance of the individual. One of the theories developed to provide this balance is the "work / family boundary theory". Academics is a profession whose quality is very difficult to clarify the boundaries between work and private life. In addition to this difficulty, it is very difficult to protect the work/life boundaries of female academics when it comes to the additional responsibilities of being a woman. This brings with it a question about how border management strategies should be applied to specific occupations. In this study, a survey was conducted with 300 female academicians in order to show how women academicians provide work/life balance; the data obtained are analyzed using the methods of exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, descriptive statistics, regression and One Way Anova. As a result of the research, it was found that the factors of "work at home" and "adoption of family roles" were effective in ensuring the work/life balance of female academicians.
