The aim of the current study was to develop a scale to measure the attitudes of vocational school students towards vocational education. In the 2012-2013 academic years, a total of 1108 students participated to the study in Ankara from 8 different vocational schools which are Hotel Management and Tourism Vocational, Technical and Industrial Vocational, Commercial Vocational, Technical and Vocational school types. The Scale consisted of 35 items to be graded by 5 point Likert type. Principal components analysis was conducted in order to understand the validity of the scale. The result of the analysis provided a single factor structure for the scale. The accuracy of unidimensionality was tested with a parallel analysis. The first factor explained 50.96% of the total variance. Cross validation analysis was performed to determine whether the scale would produce the similar results for similar groups. The analysis showed that similar result could be obtained if the scale would be applied on sub-groups. Corrected item-total correlation values of the scale items varied between 0.57-0.81. The reliability coefficient was found as Crα=0.97. It was determined that the scale could categorize students for their attitude levels (p<0,001). Findings of the research indicate that the scale has good psychometric properties
