With this study the analysis of the dissertations to mathematics courses in primary schools have been aimed. Fifty dissertations were analysed with qualitative research approach. The dissertations, reached by website of YOKTEZ, were analysed according to their level of degree, universities and departments, supervisor’s title, years of publication, target year of primary school, subjects of topic, topics, methodologies, policies for data collection, and methods for data analysis. The research findings have been evaluated by using a content-analysis method. In this research, it was found that the most prepared post graduate thesis in the fifth grade of primary school have been conducted in 2010 and 2012 and mostly assistant professors have supervised them. According to this, it was uncovered that the most common topic has consisted of algebra and a qualitative research approach has commonly been applied. As a result of the research it is found that the achievement tests have been used as a data collection method and finally the test has been used for qualitative research analysis
