The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of computer assisted grammar teaching on the success and misconceptions of primary school 6th grade students. For the application, a software that is suitable for constructivist approach and principles of grammar teaching was developed by the researcher. In the software; nouns, pronouns, case suffixes and possessive suffixes were chosen to be sample. In the study ‘pretest – posttest control group design’ was used. Both qualitative and quantitative data were collected at the study. Quantitative data were collected with Grammar Success Test; qualitative data were collected with Open-ended Question Form. Quantitative data were evaluated with frequency, percentage, Mann Whitney U and Wilcoxon analyses at SPSS 16 program; qualitative data were evaluated with content analysis. As a result of the study it was concluded that computer assisted grammar teaching increase success more than traditional teaching, decrease grammar misconceptions
