In 1989 Turkey accepted the policy of financial liberty which was proposed by IMF and after 1990 because of the business cycles in the World its interaction with capital movement increased. As a result of this event similar to the other developing countries an excessive speculative capital import came into existence. Because of this excessive speculative capital import independent from its own domestic conditions, economic balance of Turkey was influenced negatively and faced with financial crisis. Recently there has been an economic business cycle similar to this process. Between the years 2002-2007 as over liquidity in the World increased the foreign capital which is coming to our country, positive developments happened in our economic indicators. But decreasing demants from USA and Europe due to the global financial crisis, decreasing of the liquidty, difficulty of funding the current deficit, depreciation of Turkish Lira mistrust and decreasing credits of the banks to each other and to people because of not finding sources has caused Turkey to be negatively influenced by the financial crisis.In this study financial crisis of the former years which influenced Turkey will be examined. Moreover the existing and the probable effects of the latest financial crisis in Turkey which came into existence from foreign markets and which became harder because of domestic events will be evaulated. Finally econometric model will be searched with using dichatomous variable
