This study aims to explicate different perceptions and dimensions of globalization in the logic of globalization system and process. In this respect, the different perceptions of globalization are compared. Then, the study tries to display the different dimensions and their relations to each other. In today’s world, the borders of national cultures, economies and lands are vanishing and globalization brings new tendencies in almost every area of life. These changes lead to re-structuring which is driven by investments in knowledge, communication, biological new industrial raw materials, new energy systems, transformation in production systems and most importantly technological fields. The effects of this restructuring so called globalization could be seen widely in technological, cultural, sociological, economic and political fields. When we take the globalization process as restructuring of the fields mentioned above, it may be accepted as the motor force of advancement in welfare of all types of countries especially developing and less developed countries. Here, by mentioning about advancement in welfare of societies we did not mean only monetary welfare. This advancement also means better education, good quality in healthy and longer life, appropriate environment where each individual can use his/her abilities optimally, and democracy, human rights and security
