In this study, the examinations tools conducted in main scientific branch “Primary School's Teaching”, were studied. The study was carried out in main scientific branch “Primary School's Teaching” of Ahmet Kelesoglu Educational Faculty, Selcuk University. The documents analyzed were consisted of assessment (measuring) instruments applied during the sub-examinations of fall semester in the educational year 2009 -2010. Data of study were collected via reviewing observation, document analysis and interview. The data related to the courses, on which the examination was not conducted, were collected via interview. Totally, 24 of examination documents were investigated. In the examination conducted in main scientific branch “Primary School's Teaching”, it was determined that 3 sorts of assessment was conducted as “exercise”, “examination”, and “exercise + examination”; that assessment instruments prepared as “written examination”, “multiple choice test”, and “mixed examination” were used; that the most preferable one among then was written examinations; that the numbers of the questions in the assessment instruments were generally lees; that answering time given during exams were below 40 minutes; that minimum 20 minutes, maximum 60 minutes were given during the exams; assessment instruments were prepared by writing on computer media; and there was no answer key in some assessment instruments
