Abstract:

Today, information and communication technologies, computers and the Internet, have become an important part of modern societies and affected almost every area of daily life. These technologies have also inevitably affected the public institutions. With the widespread use of information and communication technologies in society, expectations and demands of citizens in public institutions have differentiated in this direction. Citizens using the Internet are in expectation of interactive communication and information sharing with public institutions. Therefore, e-government and e-municipality initiatives promising more effective and efficient services to citizens have gained momentum throughout the world. In this study, e-government and emunicipality concepts are discussed and E-municipality applications are examined
