The purpose of the study was to describe the problems that are faced during the adjustment period of preschool children at the very beginning of the school year and to make recommendations regarding solutions to these problems. This study was a qualitative study in which a total of 18 preschool education teachers were interviewed in school year 2013-2014 in the schools in Muğla. In order to collect data, a semi-structured interview form was used. Content analysis was conducted in order to analyze the data. The results revealed that preschool adjustment implementations are conducted at minimum level at schools. In order to increase the quality of the preschool adjustment implementations, this process should be planned by all stakeholders, implemented on time, and monitored.
