Crimean Tatars, as from 1876 migrating from Crimea to Romenia and from there to Bulgaria and finally to Turkey, mostly settled down around İstanbul, Eskişehir and Ankara. Crimean Tatars settling dowm around Orhaniye village of Çay district have been living there for over one century. Crimean Tatar language, which is in fact a “Kıpçak ” accent, accommodates features of “Oğuz” accent as a result of neighborhoods lasting for centruies. Hence, Crimean Tatar language divides into main two dialects. Orhaniye village of Çay district consists of immigrants coming from Crimea and having both accents of Crimea. In the village there are two groups adopting themselves as “Nogay” and Crimean Tatar. In this study we attemp to determine features relating to phonology and morphology knowledge of Crimean Tatar dialect of Orhaniye village.
