Today, with the development of science and technology, the importance given to education has increased even more. At the same time, the behaviors of the individuals in the society towards the preferences and demands of the purchasers of goods and services as consumers have also been differentiated. Individuals know to be factors that affect the preferences of consumers for purchasing goods and services. In this study, it is aimed to investigate the factors affecting preferences of pre-primary education institutions that their families receive. Within the scope of the survey, 13 kindergartens, including state and private institutions in the province of Trabzon, and the students attending the main class were taken and 500 people were included in the survey. The research was done by questionnaire method and it is a descriptive research feature in the screening model. Statistical data were analyzed by SPSS'20 statistical program and descriptive tests and analysis of variance were used in the analysis. As a result of the research, it has been determined that the factors affecting the pre-school education preferences of the families as the consumers are the education-related factors, the school staff, the socio-economic status of the parents and the institution
