Özet:

The purpose of this article is that descend to the roots of today’s Europe and Europeanes idea and while we are doing that, we will discussing to make developments, cause, causes and consequences of emergence point of United Europe. We will also focus on how and why to approach Europe and Europeanes idea has developed in Turkish history. As known old Europe Continent has been remained under the domination of Christianity for centuries and it remained so. Barely, Europe experienced great religious wars and strife, furthermore together, Europe increasingly become an imperialist power and European states have entered into combat with each other with the geographical discoveries. However, there is no doubt, the biggest fundamental change in the political sense respectively resulting Westphalia order (1648) after the Thirty Years War, 1789 French Revolution and impact of Napoleon, I. World War, and lastly II. World War. Just after the started of the Cold War period, European statesmen feel forced to not live those destructions and suffering invasions again. Therefore, they will create a common (United) European idea. Unless, we are not going to focus on II. World War and after process. We are going to focus on more between 18th and19th centuries, and the beginning of the 20th century.
