This research aims to determine university students’ alienation levels at various dimensions and variables causing to alienation. In this study, descriptive scanning model has been used for this purpose. By rated sampling method, 421 university students participated to the study. The data were obtained with University Alienation Scale. As a result of this research, university students’ school alienation levels are generally medium, at the dimension of meaninglessness is the most and at the dimension of social isolation is the least. According to the results of the study, it was obtained that boys alienated to school more than girls; students who choose their study areas with others’ effect alienated more than those choosing their study areas with their own wish. In addition, students who have weak relationships with instructors and peers were more alienated than those having very good and moderate relationships, and students who never join to social activities alienated more than those always and occasionally joining to social activities. As a result, it can be said that university students’ gender, decision of career choice, relationships with faculty members and classmates, participation in social activities are factors which affect their school alienation feelings.
