The purpose of this study is to make an analysis of self-efficacy, academic achievement and attitude of Music Education Students in choir class by considering variables such as gender, age, type of former high school, voice group, YGS (Transition to Higher Education Examination) scores, regional and family background. The research population is the Students of Music Education Division at Fine Arts Education Department of Faculties of Education in Turkey and the sample is comprised of Year 2 (n=30) Music Education Students at Inönü University during Spring Semester of 2010-2011 Academic Year. Attitude, Self-Efficacy Perception and Academic Achievement Scale was used as a data collection tool in scope of this study. In order to determine how self-efficacy , academic achievement and attitude towards choir class differs depending on several variables; Mann Whitney U test was applied in the analysis according to gender and type of former high school type, Kruskal Wallis Test was applied in the analysis according to age, voice group, YGS scores, regional and economic background. It was concluded that self-efficacy, academic achievement and attitude of students towards choir subject did not manifest meaningful difference in terms of age range, type of former high school, regional background and economic income variables, while it showed significant difference according to gender, voice group and YGS scores variables.
