The concept of cultural landscape, in the historical process as a result of human activities or a part of a holistic affected by natural landscape, with alteration can be defined as the creation of a unique landscape character. Began the development of civilizations and cultures all over the world, and then spread across the world are considered to be the geography of Anatolia. The preservation of the landscape culture and its passing down to posterity emerges as both a social duty and a cultural necessity. Actually, cultural landscape has a heritage property for everyone and requires the cooperation among cultures in order for its perception, to get more information about it and to develop it further. The passing down to posterity of the cultural heritage of the past and of today is a responsibility for all humanity. These cultures should be preserved and presented to the experience of all humanity thereby contributing to the cultural richness of the world. The objective of this study was to put forth the socio-cultural properties of yoruks as well as their position as part of the cultural landscape.
