Lisans Düzeyi Resim Öğretiminde Çağdaş Sanat Kuramına Yer Vermek: Bir Olgubilim Çalışması

To instruct the fundamental principals and elements of visual arts through the acquisition of theoretical knowledge and artistic practices are common and priory scopes of art education. Painting studio courses of which all various instructing methods are the practical complement of the contemporary aesthetic structure needed in various levels of education. When the artistic approaches of the age and the scientific developments in art education are compared, various contemporary artistic paradigms are encountered in artistic events with applications that accommodate but, in the practices of painting teaching, it is not possible to talk about the formation parallel to this structure. Moving from this problem state, trilateral conceptual framework that are ontological change in painting art in postmodern era, the presence of this change in the program and the perspectives of the practitioners is utilized in the data collecting process. The qualitative method was used in the research and the data were shaped by phenomenology. The interviews, which are the basic data collection tool for phenomenologic research, were held over a period of five months. Semi-structured interviews made three times with a working group of lecturers working at Fine Arts Department of Education Faculty at Uludağ University was justified by means of thematic analysis. Opinions of lecturers was interpreted by triangulating with instruction program and theoretical frame. Research findings; "Contemporary Art Perception", "student centeredness" and "comprehensive art education" are presented with three main themes.
