In the context of patriarchal society, masculinity, culture-based, power, rationality is defined through concepts such as positive and belong to the nature of femininity, physical and emotional is a weakness, as negative irrational concepts are defined through. Mass media which fuelling gender inequality, dominated patriarchy and heterosexuality are featured. Thus, the representations presented through the mass media are directly accepted by viewers and contributes to the reproduction of the dominant discourse. Conventional cinema especially in a format that is important to reflect the image of masculinity in patriarchal society. Cinema is one of the application areas where men's power is seen effectively. Movies, to identify with male characters, big, strong, highlighting the feelings of being dominant provides and thus movies exhibit an ideological attitude. This hero as the ideal person, self-contained, self-confidence, a solid white man. It is possible to see the ideal hero in which western, ganster and crime movies. James Bond movies usually reflect the typology of patriarchal masculinity. However, Sean Connery who played the first James Bond films, has become an icon and has led to a breakdown in the representation of masculinity. The aim of this study after 2000 with James Bond, played by Sean Connery is to show the change between the captured representations of masculinity in the James Bond movies. In this study, content analysis method of mutual will be applied.
