This study aims to explain how preschool education teachers evaluate the working time and the working hours in Turkish preschool education system. The sample of the research consists of 42 preschool teachers. The research was prepared by a screening model which is a qualitative method. A three-part form was prepared as a data collection tool. The first part of this form contains the personal information of the teachers; the second part contains the teachers' perception related to the day-to-day, weekly and interim vacation in the preschool education institutions; the third part contains suggestions that are related to the second part. The metaphors created by the teachers were evaluated by content analysis method in the second part. In the direction of the data obtained from the study, it was concluded that the working hours and the working time (dual training) should be reorganized in the preschool education institutions.
