The Ottoman music which was formed from different cultural units, was influenced by different cultural processes in the historical process, created a rich structure by adding West to the Easter culture which has developed within the blending. Depending the topic when we examine the Ottoman music of the Baroque period, we witness innovations considered revolutionary. Baroque emerged as a style in the West in 17th century, felt the effect on someone in the field of music, made the “art of palace, art made in palace” to become more efficent. In this era in which Ottoman art and music was influenced, new forms and particularly creation of note script was considered important developments. In such a period Ali Ufki grown in the Ottoman palace, made important contributions in connection with the Baroque music. Ali Ufki who is originally from Poland, entered the palace in the period of IV. Murad and served here for nine years. In our study, the effects of Ali Ufki who lived in the Ottoman palace, on the Ottoman music culture and works he gave will be examined.
