Loneliness has become more and more popular with modernism, especially since it is one of the problems that people have been experiencing since the day of existence. The modern life and the facilities provided by technology to human life have not shown enough success in reducing the loneliness of individuals. Thus, the concept of loneliness began to be heard more deeply. Literature deals with the problems that society and individuals in their political, social and economic arenas face and reflect in different ways. Loneliness, which is performed intensely in world literature, is one of the themes frequently encountered in post-Republican Turkish poetry. The Second New Movement, whose names began to be published by the names of Cemal Süreya, İlhan Berk, Turgut Uyar, Sezai Karakoç, Edip Cansever and Ece Ayhan, Has an important place in Turkish poetry after the Republic. In this study, Edip Cansever's poems of loneliness, poetry contributions and effects of these discourses were examined in the poem "Bezik Playing Women" of the important items of the Second New Poem.
