Globalization and technological developments in the world have caused an intensive diversity both in terms of consumption and in the products presented. The fact that consumers are unable to reach sufficient information on issues such as product prices, quality and safety, and the lack of a competent authority to search for their rights have brought about the issue of legal protection for consumers. It is aimed to prevent consumer victimization by the consumer rights law enforced from the beginning of the 20th century. For this reason, it is critical for consumers to know the basic rights provided by the "Law on the Protection of Consumer No 6502". In this study, 809 women consumer questionnaires were applied to in shopping centers in Konya to decide consumer knowledge and consciousness. The main purpose of the study is to examine the level of knowledge about the rights provided the "Law on the Protection of Consumer No 6502" of the women consumers who purchase goods and services from shopping centers in Konya. As a result of the research, it was determined that the female consumers who participated in the survey know the existence of a law on consumer rights. However, it is understood that they do not have the desired level of information about the ways to benefit from the basic rights provided in this law. Also; income level, residential zone and marital status affect the level of information and awareness of consumers.
