In recent years, the Financial Fair Play rules, developed by UEFA focusing on the sustainability and financial success of European football clubs, have restricted the transfer, borrowing and other sporting activities of Turkish football clubs. Today, it is accepted that the main aim of the companies is to maximize the firm value in terms of shareholders. Cash flows must be managed effectively in order to maximize firm value, manage it sustainably and fulfill its obligations in a timely manner. In terms of football clubs, effective management of cash flows in terms of quantity and timing is also very important in terms of financial fair play rules. In this study, Beşiktaş Football Investments Industry and Trade Inc., Fenerbahçe Football Inc., Galatasaray Sportif Industrial and Trade Investments Inc. and the cash flow profiles of Trabzonspor Sportif Investment and Football Operations Trading Co. Inc. are tried to be analyzed. The cash flow statements of these football clubs between the years 2013 and 2016 were analyzed according to the “Cash Flow Patterns Method”, and the cash flow performances and cash flow profiles of these clubs were examined over the years.
