In this study, Ahmet Rasim's work which is called İmlâ-yi Osmânî was examined. During the examination, we made some comparisons with other works written with similar contents and methods. The work was published in Artin Asadoryan Şirket-i Mürettibiye Matbaası in the year 1307 (1891). It was written in Arabic alphabet. This work which sheds light on the tradition of the writing era and which contains the evaluations of Ahmet Rasim about the Ottoman imperialism has not yet been published in the Latin alphabet. This work has emerged in order to present to people who interested in it. İmlâ-yi Osmanî is one of the works written by Ahmet Rasim in the field of language. Educational teaching information about the Ottoman statue and practices are given at the same time. There is a suggestion by Ahmet Rasim about the imitation training for children. The work consists of two parts and there are reminders about the works in the work. In this study, firstly, the Arabic alphabetical edition of the work was reached, the work was transferred to Modern Turkic, and the procedures and principles that Ahmet Rasim followed in his work were determined. Similarities and differences have been emphasized by comparing with other studies in the field of Ottoman Turkish. The study was a qualitative study, in which the data were retrieved using a tissue analysis technique and the obtained data were analyzed by means of descriptive analysis. In this study, it was aimed to contribute to the field of Ottoman Turkish by bringing this work, which was published in Istanbul in 1307 with the permission of Maarif Nezareti Celilesi, in the framework of the Maarif- i Umumi Nizamnamesi on Ottoman education system.
